A pastor in Nairobi is facing serious allegations after being accused of defiling a 15-year-old girl under his pastoral care.
The girl is said to be four months pregnant. Ejoi Anthony Omale, according to the charge sheet, unlawfully and intentionally defiled the teenager on January 3, 2026, at Spring Valley area in Njiru sub-county.
The accused is reportedly claimed to have abused the minor at the church office on multiple occasions and at a guest house.
According to the girl’s account, the incident unfolded on a day when she and other church members had attended a practice session that ended around 4 pm.
One of her friends informed her that the pastor wanted to see her in his office. Upon arriving, she found him alone. He reportedly told her about a secret place he wished to take her to and handed her a small tube of Arimis petroleum jelly, instructing her to conceal it in her hoodie.

He directed her to wait for him at a structure, a car wash near Red Square restaurant along Kangundo Road. The pastor later joined her and led her through several roads to a guest house. He instructed the girl to wait approximately ten minutes before following him into the already-booked room.
Once inside, he locked the door, undressed her, and allegedly told her he loved her deeply and that she belonged to him alone.
The pastor then defiled her, after which he asked her to leave first. He handed her the petroleum jelly and warned her not to enter his office if other people were present. The girl returned to the church premises but, upon seeing the pastor’s wife, became afraid and went home instead of returning the jelly.
The following morning, around 5 am, she went back for another church practice and found many congregants already gathered. The girl later confided in her mother that the pastor had, on previous occasions, taken church linen and spread it on the floor before abusing her.
The girl’s mother, who had grown suspicious of her daughter’s condition, took her to a medical facility for an ultrasound scan. The scan confirmed that the girl was approximately four months pregnant.
When the pastor learned of the pregnancy confirmation, he allegedly coached the teenager to tell her mother she had been raped by an unknown man in Njiru. However, when authorities became involved, the truth emerged, leading to the pastor’s arrest.
The accused has denied the charges. He appeared before Magistrate Gilbert Shikwe, who granted him a bond of Sh300,000 pending the hearing of the case in September.
