The Devolution Conference is scheduled from Tuesday to Friday next week at Homa Bay High School.
The hotel business is booming since accommodation rooms in almost all hotels in Homa Bay Town have been booked by the guests who will attend the conference.
A spot check by The Standard across a number of hotels established that most of them doubled their booking rates as they seek to reap big from the conference amid a surge in prebookings.
